when you get fooled by the title

Sigrid Nunez: What are you going through. 2020. 

Did not read anything on the book before starting to read it and somewhere while reading I thought that maybe I should have? Since somewhere, along the reading, after the third or even half wy though, I started to understand that this is the basis of a movie The Room Next Door by Pedro Almodovar starring the most amazing Tilda Swinton and Julianna Moore and John Turturro. 

For a minute I felt fooled - spent my precious time on a story I already now, but no, I changed my mind, the time was well spent, the reading was so good, the story so much better than in the movie, with so much more depth, more plots, more charaters Nunez writes so well. 

So, once again, the book is even more amazing and wonderful that the wonderful movie Nunez ´s writing is oh so intelligent human and precise but it breathes and lets reader think and make her own understanding on stories, on world and it is all needed since the plot of a woman, in her terminal stage of her cancer and wanting to end her life, needs holes, needs minutes to breathe. 

Loved it, the book, the movie, all Nunez writes. 

Tämä olikin yllätys!!! En lukenut mitään takakannesta etukäteen, tai etsinyt mitään muutakaan tietoa kirjasta, muuta mutta koska Nunezin Paras ystävä (joitakin vuosia sitten) oli ihana, niin Nunezin pariin, koska Nunez on kuin Cusk, mutta ystävällisempi, humaanimpi, empaattisempi.
