just like the title says : a sunday just a short traintravel from Paris

Dominique Barberis: A Sunday in Ville - d ´Avray

Now In Paris France and a in one of it ´s suburbs. 

there a re two sister, they have husbands and yes, the one couple has a daughter, the one in the suburbs yet that is not what makes them different. they, all four and the girl, act and live very French (to me) and the whole book had a very French flair to it, the feeling, the setting. 

So for me this was a very French book. The atmosphere, the reasoning in characters minds, the mistress / secret lover, the boredom, watching out of the window - kind of a housewife life, parisians vontre countryside/people - all very French. 

I liked the way this book was written, in the French way, even thhough I quite often do not enjoy the older French (like Sagan ´s and such).
