So far all I have read from Rachel Cusk has left me in understanding that this, text, Cusk, she know hernbusiness, the thinking, the writing of the thoughts the perceptions. I have loved her trilogy, her Parade, her novels and of course this, Aftermath, I bought, too, because of Cusk and because of divorce.

I loved Andre Aciman ´s Call me by your name (2007). Loved the sequel to it Find me (2019) and this, Besson ´s Lie with me to me, resembled so much Aciman ´s themes, his coming of age- story, the eroticism and tenderness of first love, of love altogether, his writing all and all, but somehow, even...

reading this books makes me wonder the authenticity of the priaises on the cover of the book (and the first 5 pages…)

If Andrew Miller´s Oxcygen was a slight dissapointment in after Miller´s The Land in Winter, so now reading Paul Auster´s Sunset Park after Baumgartner follows that same line of emotions. Not that Sunset Park would be a bad book, by all means it is not, it is good but is it a great book....

Previously, from author Andrew Miller I read The Land in Winter (2024) and that book, oh I loved so much. And since that reading was such a delight, pleasure, for me, I purcahsed also his book Oxygen, first published 2001, and since reading the two, I say, Miller nowadays, in The Land in Winter, appealed to my liking more that the book, ...

I think I will not get enough Fosse. (As I will never get enough Pirkko Saisio. Somehow these are getting tangeled in my brains, these two masters, their voices, but what the heck, let it be so).
